Fortuna Digital Group, one of the leading regional providers of digital printing and signage solutions, is entering a new chapter in its business journey – it is becoming part of the renowned Antalis Group. In April this year, Antalis, a global leader in the distribution of paper, packaging, and visual communication media, signed a binding agreement to acquire Fortuna Digital Group.
The goal of the acquisition is to strengthen Antalis’ position in the Eastern European and Adriatic markets and to expand its product and service portfolio in the digital printing sector. For Fortuna Digital, this marks a new phase of growth and development, with access to broader European markets, additional resources, and international expertise.
A Regional Leader with European Ambitions
Over its 35 years of business, Fortuna Digital Group has built a strong market presence in Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, and Austria. With an annual turnover exceeding €19 million and a team of 75 employees, the company offers a wide range of products – from large-format printers and finishing solutions to display systems, self-adhesive films, and eco-friendly print media.
One of Fortuna’s key strengths lies in its long-standing partnerships with global leaders in printing equipment such as HP, Agfa, Summa, Kongsberg, d.gen, and many others. Their solutions can be seen in Fortuna's modern showroom facilities. This knowledge and experience will now be integrated into the global structure of Antalis.
“We are proud to become part of the Antalis Group. This partnership will enable us to respond more effectively to market needs, offer a wider range of advanced solutions, accelerate our transformation, and provide even better support to our clients. Our team remains dedicated to excellence and strong supplier relationships. Clients will benefit from top-tier products and more comprehensive support in digital transformation. Additionally, this strengthens our supplier partnerships and opens doors to new opportunities,”
said Mr. Vice Stanić, founder and CEO of Fortuna Digital Group.
Global Network, Local Strength
Antalis is part of KPP Group Holdings Co., a leading Japanese group in the distribution of paper, packaging, and visual communication media. In the 2024 fiscal year, KPP Group recorded revenues of approximately €4.2 billion.
Headquartered in France, Antalis operates in 32 countries, serves more than 100,000 clients, and employs 4,200 people. Its 105 distribution centers focus on top-quality service and sustainability.
With the acquisition of Fortuna Digital, Antalis strengthens its role in the visual communications sector in the Adriatic region, expands its expertise in the large format printing (LFP) segment, and enhances its technical capabilities with innovative technologies. This allows the company to get closer to regional clients and meet the growing demand for personalized, sustainable, and digital solutions.
Combining Expertise and Innovation
“We are excited to welcome the experienced professionals from Fortuna Digital Group to our team. This acquisition will strengthen our presence in the Adriatic region and enhance our cooperation with top equipment manufacturers. We are confident that this strategic move will accelerate our growth and enable us to provide even better services to our clients,” said Hervé Poncin, CEO of the Antalis Group.
The combination of Fortuna's local strength and market position with Antalis' global reach and resources creates a synergy that will define a new era in the visual communication industry in this region.
INTERVIEW WITH VICE STANIĆ, CEO, FORTUNA DIGITAL GROUP
Strategic Integration for Stronger Market Position
How did the decision come about for Fortuna Digital Group to join the well-established Antalis Group?
Globalization, the development of our industry, and the continuous growth of Fortuna Digital’s business were all key reasons behind our decision to take this step. Naturally, the interest shown by Antalis – the largest global player in the industry – played an important role as well.
With this strategic move, Fortuna Digital Group becomes part of the largest distribution network in the industry. The benefits for both us and our clients are numerous, and we are truly looking forward to the future, where we will implement everything gained through this partnership into further development—for the benefit of our employees, business partners, and clients.
Our new strength ensures that we will become an even better and more reliable partner and employer.
Has the acquisition process been fully completed?
After signing the Share Purchase Agreement at the beginning of April this year, the process was finalized in early June, and Fortuna Digital Group is now officially a member of Antalis. I would like to emphasize that both parties entered the process openly, transparently, and with the goal of completing it successfully with minimal impact on day-to-day operations — which we ultimately achieved. I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank and congratulate everyone involved in the process.
Fortuna Digital has built a strong brand in the region. Will you retain your autonomy?
Fortuna Digital Group will retain its autonomy, its name, and its human resources — in other words, everything that has defined us so far will remain unchanged. At the same time, we will work on integrating into Antalis’s corporate strategies. Antalis is an impressive company that will bring us many benefits while also providing enough autonomy so that FD Group does not lose its key competitive advantages.
How will joining Antalis impact the expansion of services, technology, and market position?
Joining Antalis is a significant step forward for FD Group, giving us strong momentum in terms of portfolio expansion, organizational structure, and financial backing. At the same time, we will preserve everything that has brought us to our current market position. This new strength will allow us to expand our range of products, services, and technologies — bringing added value to both our employees and our business partners.

Synergy That Drives Growth
What specific changes do you expect in the operational part of the business now that you are part of the Antalis Group?
The biggest changes are expected internally, in terms of adapting our processes to a large global system, all with the goal of optimization. However, the business principles and quality standards we have built over the years will remain unchanged.
In which areas do you see the greatest synergies and growth opportunities?
As part of the Antalis Group, we will receive strong operational support in the area of IT processes and IT solutions, with the goal of modernizing and automating our operations, ensuring sustainable cybersecurity, and more quickly adapting to the needs of local markets. In addition, the availability of our brand products across 105 distribution centers throughout Europe represents a significant step forward in strengthening our portfolio, ensuring just-in-time supply, and reducing logistics costs.
Will Fortuna Digital's clients experience any changes?
Our clients will not notice any changes in day-to-day collaboration. As before, we will continue to work diligently on the quality and speed of our services, the availability of our products, and on innovation. Joining the Antalis Group can only further accelerate and enhance these efforts.
What does this acquisition mean for your employees? Will there be new opportunities for development and education, and how do you plan to ensure a smooth transition for the entire team?
By becoming part of a global network like Antalis, our teams will have opportunities for further professional development across various departments, all in line with Antalis’ HR policies and talent management team. The transition into the new organizational culture will take place gradually and in accordance with defined plans. As I mentioned before, our principles and way of doing business will remain unchanged.
